What is Missouri's Insurance Data Security Act?

The Missouri Insurance Data Security Act (MO 375.1400-1427) requires specific cybersecurity practices to be put in place this year.

In addition to having one year to meet the requirements, agencies will need to file with the Department of Insurance to certify that they met the requirements on time.

Completing these requirements will take time.
Waiting until later in 2026 to get started is not advised!
